If you've been following our series on medical billing and GE0 host for the electronic filing claims with NSF 3 / 01 specifications, we are exactly two-thirds of the way through the review of the GE0. We get rate in this area with number 21 for billing enteral nutrition.

GE0 field 21, positions 86 - 89, is the product of calories 1 field. This field displays the wearer how many calories per day that the patient is always of Product 1 Many people ask why this is so according to this way. The answer is simply that some patients actually prescribed multiple products, each with a different calorie requirement.
